Shine Athletica Home Workout Video: Barre Method Exercises

In this post we go over three different exercises in the Barre Method:Move #1- Triceps: Start by putting your hands behind your head, then lifting them up into a V shape. I am using 3 pound weights. I would recommend doing 15-20 reps for 3-4 sets.
Move #2- Biceps: Begin this move by placing your arms in an X shape in front of your body. From the X shape, take the arms into a W shape, working the biceps. Again, I would recommend 15-20 reps for 3-4 rounds. You can always do these moves on relevé by lifting the heels off of the ground to increase difficulty.
Move #3- Wall Bridge: Because I was outside, I used stairs for this move, but you can really use any wall. Place your feet against the wall and lift your pelvis straight up. For more of a challenge, try pulsing at the top instead of coming all the way back down to the ground. I would recommend doing 15-20 reps at two rounds of the regular wall bridge and 15-20 reps of the pulses for two rounds.
